Frequently Asked Questions

The INSPIRA pilot project, implemented by the Universidad Internacional del Ecuador and funded by the GIZ-Ecuador Innovation Fund, is aimed at girls and young women from rural areas, teachers, parents, and members of the educational community, particularly in the units located in Colta (Chimborazo) and Calderón (Pichincha).

Currently, access to INSPIRA technology in the first pilot is focused on the units in Colta and Calderón. However, the project has expansion plans and is working on new opportunities, collaborations, and strategic partnerships to include additional educational units starting in the last quarter of 2025.

INSPIRA provides girls and young women with a unique and transformative experience to explore STEM careers through virtual reality. At the same time, families and teachers benefit from our awareness campaigns about these careers, fostering a more inclusive environment. Volunteers and mentors receive specialized training and resources to maximize their impact in the community. Additionally, collaborators and strategic partners have the opportunity to join an innovation ecosystem that is shaping the future.

To be part of INSPIRA, interested individuals can contact us through our website, apply as volunteers, mentors, or instructors, or participate in our training programs and activities as collaborators or strategic partners. Additionally, educational units, as well as girls and young women, can join the programs when new calls are launched in their communities.
